3rd Annual RAD Conference - December 11-13, 2021

Although diagnosis of Atopic Dermatitis (AD) is straightforward in children, its diagnosis is challenging in adults. Advances in research on AD epidemiology, burden and comorbidities have transformed the understanding of the course of AD, including risk factors, age of onset, disease severity and persistence, and health outcomes. Clinicians may not be aware of the epidemiology of AD for proper risk stratification, patient education and therapeutic decision-making. Atopic dermatitis is a heterogeneous disorder with variable severity of signs and symptoms, and impact on quality of life. Clinicians may not be able to assess AD severity accurately in order to optimize therapy.

Our Conference allows clinicians to understand this disease better through the latest in research, expert faculty speakers, late-breaking research and Q&A sessions.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, registered nurses and other healthcare providers engaged in the care of patients with Atopic Dermatitis.

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, upon diagnosis and assessment of severity of AD, the participant should be better able to:

  • Select evidence-based treatment approaches for atopic dermatitis
  • Use improved understanding of pathophysiology, disease course and current, available treatment options in therapeutic decision making for atopic dermatitis and related comorbidities
  • Identify the remaining unmet needs in the treatment of atopic dermatitis
  • Discuss emerging therapies in the treatment of atopic dermatitis
